What are some of Touch Portal’s Features?

I know.. I know.. for a measly $13 you are probably thinking “it can’t be that powerful of an application.” Let me do my best at re-assuring you. The $13 spent on the full-version of the app will do nothing, but save you time and make you the coolest person in the room.

Touch Portal gives you great control as a streamer, but it’s not limited to only live streaming control. Touch Portal allows the creation of plugins.. so, as developers and code wiz’s get their grimy hands on the application and start using their big brain juices… well,  the possibilities are endless. At the time of this article there are currently many features already built into Touch Portal making it, in my opinion, superior to the Elgato StreamDeck.

Now Touch Portal is still a baby (3 Years Old) and yet its jam packed with killer features already. As more developers get their hands on Touch Portal there will be loads of integrations and plugins developed for this app! The list above is just the current capabilities of the app.

OBS Integration

With Touch Portal you are able to do many of the basic functions needed for streaming.
– Start/Stop Stream
– Turn up and Down Volume of sources
– Change the Scene
– Change the Transition
– Turn on/off sources
– Turn on/off filters
– Do all the above consecutively

I put the last one in there as a joke. But, the truth is you can create quite the lengthy logic statement within Touch Portal. If you really wanted you could start your stream, change your name on Twitter, post a tweet that you are live, change your Phillips Hue light to purple, turn on your starting stream song with a timer, and automatically switch to the live scene when its over. I mean you can literally have Touch Portal do all the hard work that you do on a normal day-to-day basis. Where before you would need to write your own css script to get amazing animations, crazy channel point redemptions, or simple automatic switching of scenes, Touch Portal already has all of that integrated.

OBS is only one of the integrations with Touch Portal. There has been a plugin developed for Voicemeeter aswell! I know many of you are using Voicemeeter because it seems to be the most commonly asked about within my Discord Server. I actually made what I call “TheFranswah Studio Mixer” combining Voicemeeter and Touch Portal, so you have a virtual mixer from your tablet or phone.

Now I don’t want to dive into crazy detail on how to do this, because it would take quite some time. But, I have made a video on the setup of said mixer!
